[Services & rates]
Studio
A real website built from scratch for your business, plus your own private dashboard to run it from — and me on the line as much or as little as you want.
Project-based engagements with honest ranges. Final price depends on scope; I'll quote after a short discovery conversation. No required retainers, no minimums for advisory calls. Tap any service to expand it inline — no page jump.

[The studio ethos]
What you're paying for isn't the tool — it's the judgment.
I've already spent the hours looping on wrong turns, rebuilding around bad assumptions, and figuring out which 10% of a project actually needs to be custom. You get a brand system that looks like you, not like every other project on the internet. You get architecture that doesn't need unwinding in six months. And you get something that ships — fully — instead of something that almost works and sits in draft forever.
The difference between building alone and building with someone who's done it before is the gap between it works and it works, looks right, and won't embarrass you when it scales.

[What you're actually getting]
Your own website
Custom-designed for your business. Mobile-friendly. Yours to keep.
Your own dashboard
A private control panel to edit copy, prices, hours, and photos yourself — no developer needed.
A shared workspace
Track our project, share documents, message me, see invoices — all in one place.
Me, on the line
Not a contractor who vanishes at handoff. Sliding-scale rates. Retainers optional.
[Also: operations software, not just a website]
For farms, hatcheries, shellfish & seaweed growers, small food makers, and field crews — harvest logs, lot/batch traceability, inventory, crew scheduling, wholesale orders. Built into your site so one login runs the business. See Project Brackish →
[Own the platforms you're renting]
Most of what you pay a monthly subscription for — your newsletter tool (Brevo, Mailchimp), your booking calendar (Calendly, Acuity), your storefront (Shopify), your invoicing (QuickBooks), your project workspace (Notion, Basecamp) — I've already built as modules inside real client sites. You can pick which ones to fold into your own site and stop paying monthly for them. Same goes for the ag & aquaculture side — the harvest sheet, the inventory spreadsheet, the crew text thread — all foldable into the same dashboard. On the intake I'll show you the exact list, what each one replaces, and an honest price range.
[The math, roughly]
Built with me
~$500
Starting range for a small site, shipped in a week or two of focused work on my end.
Built solo, first time
$2,500–$5,100
Same site, 3–6× the credits burned looping through wrong turns, rebuilds, and dead ends.
Typical custom dev
$4,000–$12,000
What a freelance developer or small agency usually quotes for the same scope — before revisions.
Your hours back
80–150 hrs
The evenings and weekends you don't spend debugging — time back for the work only you can do.
Honest ranges from real projects across the studio — not a sales pitch, just the receipts.
[From a recent client]
“This is so full service and way more than I would have even thought to ask someone for. It feels like my whole online presence as well as the backend that I interact with are undergoing the transformation I've needed. A real makeover for my business that aligns with its growth over the last 10 years, and I particularly love that my clients and community will have easier access to connecting with everything I offer.”
[How studio projects work]
Build, design, and software engagements are custom-scoped, so they move through a different rhythm than a direct calendar booking:
1. Inquiry
Tell me what you're after.
2. Proposal
I draft scope, fee, and timeline.
3. Approval
You review and sign off.
4. Workspace
Shared dashboard tracks the work.
Advisory calls and strategy sessions can be booked directly from the calendar. Studio projects flow through inquiry and (once we're working together) your project workspace.
[Build & Handoff]
A site you actually own — and can edit yourself.
Custom built from scratch for your business, then handed off with a simple admin dashboard so you can edit copy, prices, hours, and contact info yourself. No page-builder lock-in, no monthly platform fee climbing every year.
Priced below Squarespace, Wix, Webflow, and most freelance quotes — on purpose.
Track 1 — Ready-to-edit
Field Kit
$500 one-time
+ Lovable platform costs after handoff
A ready-to-edit kit I customize from the design library, then hand off. You log in at /admin and edit every page yourself with built-in AI tools.
Good for one- or two-person businesses that want a beautiful, professional site fast.

Custom Build
starting at $500 one-time
+ Lovable platform costs after handoff
Custom design and bespoke functionality — booking systems, integrations, layouts the library doesn't capture. Scoped per project, handed off the same way at the end.
Good for businesses that need something specific — booking, member logins, integrations — built the way you actually work.

After the one-time build, the only recurring bills are the Lovable platform subscription and any extras you choose. No markup, no hidden fees.
Custom Build add-on — I handle it
Maintenance Retainer
$60/mo
Driftline: $20/mo (Driftline)
Don't want to log in and edit it yourself? Retain me instead. I handle copy updates, small layout tweaks, plugin/security updates, broken-link fixes, and a quarterly check-in — you just email or text me. Up to 1 hour/month of changes included; additional time at $50/hr (well below standard freelance rates).
[Sliding scale, no proof required]
Driftline Rate
I keep a permanent sliding-scale rate on every service — builds, maintenance retainers, and all consulting/advisory work — for low-income founders, disabled-led businesses, mutual-aid groups, BIPOC/Indigenous-led ventures, and queer/trans-led work. No proof required; mention it when you reach out.
- Site build
- from $200
- Maintenance retainer
- $20/mo (Driftline)
Consulting, advisory, and all hourly services on the Operations page also carry a Driftline rate (typically 40–60% off the listed range). Just ask.

[How you pay me]
Venmo or Zelle — on your schedule
Studio work is paid directly by Venmo or Zelle — no card processing, no platform fees, nothing added to your total. Beyond that, I'm genuinely flexible: pay it all at once, split it in half, or chip away at it a little each month like a small no-interest loan. Whatever actually lets you get the work done.
Once your project is open, you set your own amounts and dates in your dashboard under Your payment plan, and you can change them any time life changes. I see your updates on my side automatically — no awkward email needed. Missing a date you set isn't a problem; just move it.
[Sponsor the Driftline rate]
Keep the sliding scale alive
The Driftline rate lets me work with low-income founders, disabled-led businesses, mutual-aid groups, and BIPOC/Indigenous/queer/trans-led teams at a deep discount — sometimes 40–60% off the listed range. If you've got the means and want to help more of those projects get built, a direct gift offsets the gap and keeps the studio solvent while I do it.
